  • Pretty oak influenced nose with cedar and spice leading the way with black cherries and a little bit of earth following up. Taste is a tart black cherry up front with a bit of boysenberry; mid palate again shows more oak influences with cedar and allspice; finish is long and really dry from the firm tannins.

Know what you are getting yourself into (an oak influenced dry but interesting wine) and you might be pleasantly surprised.

  • Very unique and great bottle of wine. Opened up with lots of earth and funk, all in a good way. Good balance and as this opened up, nice tart fruit came to the front. Medium bodied, this was a great wine with Mexican food.
