I have had other bottles many years ago and they were OK. But this one was way better. Great color. The flavor goes up the nose and circulates with an intense flavor. I still have the flavor for at least 45 seconds and we finished the bottle over the dinner and I am said I don't have anymore. While some don't like older chard's, come to my house and enjoy some that are 15 or more years old and they are so enjoyable over a meal.

Flock Tasting of Cali Chards - 1999 or older (Dennis' place): Gold color. Nose of sweet oak, nectar-like fruits and caramel. Palate has tropical fruits and honey with the oak notes well integrated and subtle. Godd mouthfeel with a solid finish. Well made but lacks some vibrancy and pop.
