Blood red with brick edges. Nose somewhat austere with dark fruit, roasted wood and hint of spices. Well build with silky tannins and god peppery finish. Lack the concentration that the better Brunellos have but very good for the price.
Dark garnet color with narrow and very clear brim. At the beginning - nose of black and slightly cooked fruits, after an hour in the decanter changing to mostly spices and wood, something like Herbs de Provence, with good addition of thyme and nice cigar-box On the palate: first are coming black fruits with good acidy, than good bunch of spices, medium and balanced finish with silky tannins. Probably will get even better in the next 5 years but who can wait so long ?
