Finally getting around to this one, and it's probably a little long in the tooth, but still quite enjoyable for me tonight with Frito pie and the Superbowl. Deep ruby, best I can tell in my current light. Smells like dark fruits, graphite, oak, curry, dry spice drawer. Medium body, acid, and finish, with flavors of dark fruits, sour cherry, minerals, lemon, spice. Nice one tonight, but drink 'em if you got 'em. 88-89

A pleasant find from the cellar. Inky medium to thick body. Aromatic and dry bark on the nose. Mild tannins and mature dark fruit flavor with mellow finish.

Brought to Richard's The Best Cellar. Shared with pat and other attendees. Cork crumbled. Had to do a push in and filter. Nose was off. Cardboard? TCA? Will try another bottle soon to assess further. May have kept too long in the Florida heat.

Slightly moldy - opened up after 30 minutes and was drinkable!

Probably a bit past its prime, but still quite good. Bright red fruit & good acidity help this stand out from the back.
