Over 3 1/2 years since my first bottle, and my second (and, sadly, last) bottle remains every bit as good. Canonical Willamette PN. Windhill seems to be one of Elk Cove's better single-vineyard offerings.

Drank with grilled chicken. Aroma of eucalyptus, red to dark cherry. Taste is very earthy, almost with twigs, and tart cherries. A bit of greenness in the flavor as well. This just seems a bit rough around the edges, and not sure it si going to be something worthwhile down the road.

I found this to be just a pitch-perfect example of OR PN. Spicy, tart, eminently drinkable right now.
