  • This wine just keeps getting better !! At peak, delicious !!
A perfect cork after a decade in the bottle. Consumed over two days and from the first sip I knew, this is a very special wine. As always, this balanced wine showed more fruit on the first day albeit a little closed at first. Fortunately after an hour this mature wine really started to shine. On day two this balanced wine had softened just a little to an increased depth and integrated complexity. Medium ruby color with no oxidation and excellent clarity. Aromas of red cherry and cranberry. Flavors of bing cherry, raspberry, and rhubarb with a hint of forest floor. This Pinot Noir has a medium to long finish. A balanced and flavorful Pinot Noir. This wine is on the Burgundian side and is the perfect example of what make a wine age worthy. This wine may have more years of life remaining, unfortunately I have none of this vintage remaining in the cellar. A great blend of fruit sources from the Anderson Valley. All of these elements and great winemaking from Ted Lemmon combine to consistently produce a fine Pinot Noir.

  • Splendid but as expected, thumped into submission by the 2010 Morey Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru served alonside this wine. Nice in every way--good complexity, balance impeccable, fruit just a tad on the riper side, lacking that frisson of minerality that the C-M had as advantage.

  • Mushroom and dark fruit. Dark cherry with fine tannins.

  • Drinking well right now. However it's more like a Russian River Valley than an Anderson Valley. It is full of fruit, both red and dark. I don't get much minerality or garrique. This wine is very fruit forward with some spicecake and small amount of leather. Tannins are round and soft, if there at all.

I don't think this wine will benefit from age.

  • Really good. Lacks that something interesting to make it great but littorai' style is right up my alley
