Whoa. Fairly dark in the glass even for a wine that is a decade-old. That is the only aspect of the wine, though, that seems "old" in any way. the nose is a vanilla-laced, delicately oaky, baked lemon curd mélange of goodness, nay, greatness. Whoa. The nose, though, is only a precursor to the palate, which is amazing: balanced, rich, tart, intense. This is the best Chardonnay I have had in quite a while, maybe a decade? Whoa. thedrunkencyclist.com

This was drinking beautifully at a Littorai open house in the Spring so decided to open my last bottle. Pale yellow. Complex nose of tropical fruits, citrus, and butterscotch. Rich on the palate with an unctuousness which I find characteristic of this bottling, although walking a tight rope with enough acidity to prevent flabbiness. This is clearly in its secondary phase and will last but I'm not sure will get better. More notes on day 2. Day 2 - this improved significantly with more tension and acidity to balance the lovely fruit. More whites need air/decanting than I have realized.

Glorious Cali Chard! Took this to Bouchon in Las Vegas on our 10th wedding anniversary last week. Extremely classy and elegant. Excellent with many of the dishes.

An extremely balanced and feminine chardonnay, with notes of smooth, subtle Meyer lemon, citrus, popcorn, and pear. Nothing out of place, with an impeccably inviting persona. A hint of minerality adds interest.
Not a lot of "pow" from this wine as one might expect from a California chardonnay. As others have noted, much more French in style.
Paired nicely with a honey mustard lime-spiked cedar plank Alaskan salmon. Drink now and over the next 3+ years.

It's over the hill - waited too long to drink. Almost flavorless.
