Not as good as it should be. Oaky, almost soupy, with firm savoury fruit and woody spice. Some quality evident but it doesn't hang together. No problems cellaring for another 2 to 3 years.

The nose is reminiscent of fresh mushroom and leather. Dense and sharp. Beautiful mouth, with a vivid acidity, balanced primary aromas. Quite tingy on the palate.Young, very young, but impossible to resist now. Definitely akin to a red Burgundy from Côtes de Beaune. Wish I had more in the cellar !

Pale, mulch/lichen/compost dominant with cherry/.strawb that later seemed darker fruited, more I drank the more hedgerow - elder and bramble - like it became, no spice or woods, touch wood smoke perhaps; palate is between velvet and oily, too fat on the mid palate and too lacking in the finish on flavour, good lowish acidity. Would not buy again

A lifted bouquet, almost intoxicating to the point I really don't want to take a sip. But when I do there is a lovely balance and length. I do fear however this wine will not be as long-lived as a usual Bannockburn Pinot.

Celery and stalks with some graphite on the nose. Palate is light and just okay. Too vegetal for my liking.
