nose of angelica and citron, and it's almost as though you can smell the acidity. Bone dry with minerality, like a young sancerre in nature but a very different flavor profile (although Rand says he gets green apple). medium finish of 20 to 30 secs.... the acidity keeps on giving.

Blind Tasting - Southwest France (My Home): A blend of 95% of Gros Manseng with 5% of PM. Only stainless steel tanks. Very strong nose, almost agressive with dusty moldy old lemon, smoke and fresh cut grass. A touch of mint appears with time. Very good acidity, not as round as the Clos Lapeyre. Very lemony on the palate with an interesting bitterness. A little simple but enjoyable for sure.

Needed a minute. Went well with this dish: steamed potato, creme fraiche / creamy chèvre, salted caper, fennel frond, lemon and shallots. Also: mixed green salad + omelette.
Great acid after a while.

It starts with nice tropical and mineral and turbos into a citrus acid drive. I can't believe it's only $17, very good.
