  • Slighty fresh woody nose, sappy fruit. Tight and acidic at the fore, cherries and plums, but slightly green. Thin, but nice soft elements of earth and soil. Breathing for a couple of hours opened this up to more firm structure and richer feel. A true, but light expression of Santenay. 2000 Burgs are showing this tendency - good expressions, but pale and thin. Not really the best pairing for falafel-crusted salmon.
