Pre-birthday delight with local halibut and buttered cob corn. green apple, baking spices, somewhat appreviated finish. aging well with nice teriary notes.

Popped and poured. Light golden. Quite ripe and juicy in style which reflects the warm 2009 vintage with some tropical notes coming through. Full bodied, rich and long but beginning to show some age now and might even be declining.

Popped and poured. After about twenty minutes this is at its best. Lemon, kiwi, almonds and minerals come through. The wine is quite full bodied and ripe reflecting the vintage but maintain balance and Grand Cru breeding. While this is a great wine, it’s not an outstanding one because it lacks some of the freshness and detail of the best versions of this. This has reached early maturity but good bottle should last another five to ten years easily.

Christmas Eve. no oxidized apples this time; just short of long finish, camomile, lemon curd with crab dip, ahi tuna poke, Christmas Eve memories.
