My final btl, and the best one. After 2 hrs open, notes similar to last time, but the intensity just seems turned up: denser and more vibrant acid. A head-turner.

Was having a bit of a bad run with Condrieu, so I decided to open this. Just lovely at 10. Gorgeous nose with pineapple and struck match, some vanillla, but lemon peel bracing against the sweetness. On the palate, broad and rich, but fantastic acidity to keep things in balance: wet stone, white pepper, pineapple, and chalk. Lovely vibrant finish. A joy to drink, but no rush.

Glad I opened one. Beautiful nose, with some pineapple, and mineral hints in the background. On the palate, good acidity, loads of minerality, generous tropical fruit, and a very clean finish. Very good, without the reductive notes of the Perrieres 1er.
Day 2: In the refrigerator overnight, and pretty much identical to yesterday. Maybe even more minerality shines through today. Just excellent.

From 375. Near the end of the case, so we know what to expect. Light in color, medium to light body. Extremely well balanced but not hugely deep or complex. Still, more than just pleasant.

Clean and crisp from 375. Very mineral and definitely Burgundian. Note hugely deep and complex, but very well balanced.
