Rich golden yellow color. Tropical fruit, vanilla and apple on the nose. Very compelling nose. Medium weight on the palate, with silky flavors. Crisp, spicy finish with medium lift. Well crafted.

Like eating popcorn on a hayride on an autumn day. This is beautifully constructed with just the right touch of ripe oak but all held in balance with rich lightly buttery flavor and subtle citrus notes. Holds together beautifully. A truly fine effort.

Popped and poured and then consumed over 4 hours. Full-bodied wine that is medium lemon yellow in color. On the nose, honeysuckle and nuts. On the palate, lemons, honeycomb, and oak on the very long 30-40 second finish. Lovely, well-balanced, plush, CA-style Chard that is drinking very nicely right now!

B-C did an amazing job with Chardonnay. 15 years old and still delicious. 94+

double blind. i've had plenty of B-C chards that i liked, but this was clearly past prime, which when the vintage was revealed surprised me.
