Even better then last bottle, tons of sediment so gave it a good double decant and took out to dinner. Very dark almost black but beautifully resolved and smooth. Lots of herbs, leather, dark meat and old world funk which was on the earthy side but not intrusive. Flavors where more deep then you would expect as the wine was mote towards an elegant body then rich and it went great with many dishes around the table. Ready to drink suspect it will be good for few more years at this level but not much upside in ageing.

Fully mature, soft and a good example of a well aged Vacqueyras from the days this was quite a reasonable purchase. Not much upside in additional cellar based on this last bottle so time to enjoy.

Dark fruits, garrigue, truffle, structured but kind of wild at the same time. Paired with a mushroom risotto. Very sad to have only one bottle left. I'll be holding on to it for several more years.

Dark red. Earthy, weedy, cranberry, smoky nose with brett. Tangy acid and mouth-filling roundness. Flavors favor tart cranberry and raspberry over cherry and leather, but it's all there. Offers a delightful combination of winemaking rusticity and modern ripeness of fruit. Bottle #2 of two.
