Dark garnet, almost purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Really attractive nose of currants, dried plums, roasted nuts and a hint of sorghum. Unfortunately really light palate of mostly dried fruit, currants and plums framed over a very earthy finish. Short and clipped finish. Medium acidity, medium to full bodied. Drink now. We'll go 90 points based purely on the nose.

A Celebration of Jose; 5/19/2022-5/21/2022 (Madison, WI): Remarkably youthful, deep crimson-garnet in the glass. Alluring and complex nose of dried fruit and grains, with animal notes that carry through on the less appealing and more muted palate. Showing very little sweetness. Overall an enjoyable experience.

The Notes are definitely not formal, this wine was pretty damn good, the Heaviness of youthful Amarone fruit is gone, its mellowed, its not a dry wine, maybe a touch off dry but the acidity balance that tout, the fruit is still present. I can see why this is Franks Favorite wine
I can also see why a sommelier in a restaurant would stear a person away from ordering this wine, if they dint know what they were getting into as its not a youthful type of Amarone so elegant
Found my notes! Kinda A:Med Intensity, Developed. Really Really Floral Like crazy Germanium type of Floral. Chocolate Shavings T:Med+Intensity med+finish, med- tannin Gorgerous Red Fruit, Chocolate

Tasted very fresh and complex. A real depth of fruit with raisin, cherry, a slight tartness, a touch of leather and a bristling and slightly sour yet delicious palate. A really good wine... especially for its age.
