  Had a very dry cork here (that cracked) and a lot of musty cellar on the nose, but it mostly blew off after an hour or 2 of air. Plum, chocolate, soil, oak, and some definite green notes on the nose, the latter of which also faded w/ air. Can there be light cork taint? Anyway, medium bodied with the plum and chocolate mirroring on the palate, along w/ a bit of an earthy, soil component. Medium finish and good acidity. Pretty solid for a value malbec.

  Consistant with prior notes - tasty Argentine malbec; last bottle of the case. At or past peak and drinking nicely…

  Nice nose some smoke violet and cherry jam. Metallic first sip but got better. Light and very easy drink. Nice.

  This is aging nicely and this bottle is noticibly more evolved than the last few I’ve had. Detailed tasting notes tomorrow but I’m thinking this is 90 pts now…it’s looking like a sleeper and I’m thinking I should’ve waited on the other bottles I’ve consumed.
