14.7% alcohol. Slightly funky on the nose, but a beautiful nose of black cherry and baking spice to go with the funk. Round, lush, and smooth in the mouth. Distinct black cherry fruit, baking spice, and a nice streak of bright acidity. A touch of heat on the finish, along with some oak influence. Pretty wine and very tasty. B+

Cloudy light ruby and somewhat translucent in the glass. Aromatic nose of cola, vanilla and spice. Medium bodied with a terrific balance of red fruit, soft tannin and lively acid. Bing cherry, earth notes and spice. Great pairing with pork chops. Very enjoyable --- but personally a questionable $40 buy at retail.

(Siduri Pinot Noir Sapphire Hill Vineyard) Group's #8 (my #6) – 86 pts.; 3, 0, 0, 5 – strawberry jam and vanillin oak nose; tight and high pitched on entry, with some sweet strawberry edges, but a little disjointed; short-medium finish 88+ pts.

Second bottle in a month. Doing very well and holding up nicely still. Strawberries and eucalyptus (?) on the nose. Nicely integrated.

I was a little worried about how cloudy the wine was, but otherwise seemed fine. I'll check the other bottle soon and get back to you.
