  Just superb older wine. Hunter wines with serious age are just stunning, this more than held its own against a 2001 Produttori Ovello, and a Pontet Canet 2012. Still showing lovely blueberry notes, but with complexity of coffee grinds and just enough Hunter poop
  One of the best wines of the year for me

  Another 'random' find in my cellar. Not your typical Hunter wine. This is elegant but substantial ....but also subdued with lots of subtle flavour and some spice. All in balance with no nasty oak or tannins to spoil the party. Needs some food to bring the best. Enjoy now as I can't see it improving.
