Rich, elegant and harmonious. Translucent dark ruby purple color; seriously aromatic nose, with blackcurrants and blackberries, a touch of vanilla, baking spices and herbs; a bit of acidity, rich but restrained black and purple fruit flavors, and a darker mocha undercurrent building through the midpalate, with scrumptious tannins for balance; long, zippy tangy finish, ending finally with black cherries. Happy to have found a bottle on the East Coast.

The nose shows savory red fruit and smoky salt & pepper. The palate has notes of cherries, cloves and spices with a nice tart spicy sweet finish. Really nice at $17.99!

Aromas of oak and slightly cooked red berry fruit. Vivacious mouthfeel with more of the red berries and tasty baking spice. Powerful tannins for a wine in this price range lead into a medium length finish. Great QPR.

Excellent character and one of the best QPRs around for daily drinking wines ... A perenial "go-to" for that nightly glass of wine
