Very much a French-style wine--could easily be mistaken for a good Chateau-Neuf du Pape. More balanced and sophisticated than we expected--the earthy undertones provide a complexity that's a perfect compliment to the fruit. Really shows how versatile the Paso region is--this is a world-class wine by anyone's measure, not just those of us who love the big fruit bombs.
