Tasted over 1 hr -med dark red faint purple, minimal clearing -red apple peel oak -med+ acidity perhaps some VA, med- weight varnishy with slightly intrusive sweet oak contributing to the mildly dried out med tannins -this bottle not nearly as good as the last one 3 years ago

Tasted over 2 hrs -nearly semi-translucent med red mild clearing -expressive faint acetone VA wet stone dark red fruit -med+ acidity, med weight sappy concentration liqueur-like black raspberry minerality apple peel, a little bit of astringency to the med tannins -this has really improved over the past 5 years and is doing well now with plenty of life left and no overt mature elements, the acidity gives lift and complexity even if a bit volatile, excellent for the appellation

PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs, of note the capsule says Maison Maume but label indicates it is a Domaine wine -nearly opaque dark red no bricking -somewhat reticent funk dark cherry -med/med+ acidity, med- weight and not a lot of depth but sappy sour cherry residue on finish, opens up with air, med intensity fine tannins with a bit of sweet oak influence -on the simple side commensurate with its appellation but thoroughly pleasant and nicely soulful with a bit of rusticity

Dark cherries, graphite, wet underbrush. Light in the mouth but finishing tannic, with flavors of dark red fruits.
