This is still plenty big, dark, brawny, dense and chewy on the palate. The foundation of tannin and oak still remain, but I suspect that in the center a hole is forming, where the fruit is weakening. Not much improvement overnight, the tannins now showing coarse and grainy like sand. There is considerable sediment in the bottle. I would not buy this again.

Saturday, Deb and I drank it while preparing dinner in New City. The oak is really dominant here, with oak attributes of vanilla and chocolate along with cherry liquer; inky. Not what I look for in Barolo and I would not buy this producer's Barolo again.
