  Dark fruited nose, with notes of black olives, asphalt, violets, lavender and bramble. Lowish acidity, medium soft tannins, medium/full weight. Medium length finish. Feels restrained and elegant. Went well with some Uzbeki grilled treats.

  (note from MC, Euryanthe tasting Northern Rhone, from magnum) Sight: intense, slightly transparent, cherry. Intense aroma. Nose: complex, intense.
  
  Aromas: dark red fruit, touch of oak, spicy, garrigue, complex.
  
  Palate: powerful attack, quite round, nice tension, very nice expansion, beautiful balance, great length. Still young but beautiful wine.
