  Received this wine as part of a blind auction. Did not expect much of anything but thought it would be an educational experience. Surprisingly, this was still alive albeit well past its prime. Some red fruit up front, but the real flavors were cigar, fallen leaves, leather, tea leaves. It was hard to drink more than a half a glass. All in all, a very enjoyable experience, but for truly showing well, this bottle should have been consumed 20 years ago
