Last bottle of this, and it was decidedly tired of life. Still holds interest, but a major disappointment since the previous bottle a year and a half ago was superb. Drink up.

Fully mature Brunello. Hints of cherry, strawberry, mushroom/truffle. Very slight bricking and nicely integrated tannins. Popped and poured and enjoyed over the next 2 hours. Held up nicely and has a couple more years before decline. Drink now an over the next 2 years. Sesta is a great QPR and a favorite of mine.

Drinking beautifully right now, spot on. Tannins are soft but abundant and healthy. Great fruit but not in your face with freshness, more subdued, cool. No hard edges, just smooth while also retaining intensity and focus. Should be great to drink over the next few years.

In a great spot. Cherry and savory (forest floor?) notes, moderate acidity helped it pair wonderfully with Pasta alla Norma

Fully mature now - drank without decanting - was marvelous in the glass for 4-5 hours. Perfect Brunello - soft, charming, still complex and valuable.
