Needs air to develop, but about an hour in, showed a beautiful nose of red and brambly fruits, leather and top soil, and flavors to match. Very dry--pucker city--with good acidity and quite a bit of minerality on the backend. Solid value in an old world style ($60 in a restaurant [in midtown]). Nicole really enjoyed. (drank at Stecchino.)
