8-7-6-8-6 still working through this new scoring method. beautiful colour, not giving much up on the nose. dried blueberries oak and cedar on the nose, but muted. Tannins still very forward here, I very much enjoy it.

Even, moderate depth of color. Dark cherry and some herbal tones behind the fruit. Glossy, smooth entry, obviously oaky base. Prominent ground coffee, clean fruit, a twist of late acidity. Friendly, modern style Bordeaux, nice its way and a pleasant enough drink, but too dressed up by the wood for my taste.

Lighter-bodied but balanced and delicious with classic notes of earthy black fruit and bitter chocolate. Finishes with soft tannins and a spicy earthiness. A lovely, easy-drinking St. Emilion.

Feminine and hollow but still graceful and pretty. About 3 years past its prime but quaffable now, if not forgettable.
