A really good wine that seems like it's near it's height right now, although I think it will stay really good and fresh-tasting for a while. This is quite a change from my note 2 years ago. The wine improved significantly in that time. Red fruits, on the fruity side but not a particularly heavy wine. Rather, a pretty wine. Medium-long finish. Didn't need any decanting or breathing before drinking. A really good wine for the price.

couple hour decant, having had this 4 years ago this has come together pretty well, still some what light bodied and a stemy quality but the balance is good and acid is fine.

Good fruit, not especially complex but it has good structure nonetheless. For the price, a very fine wine. It has clearly improved with additional bottle age, although i doubt it will get any better at this point.

Didn't seem as juicy and balanced as the last few bottles, and the acid wasn't particularly sufficient. This really tasted like an 09, or should I say an average 09 (some have been really good). Plump, nondescript, and not terribly aromatic. Nothing off or flawed about the wine. Solid wine from a less than stellar vintage. I don't see this turning into anything special. Could be shutting down a bit but not sure what will emerge. I'm inclined to drink this a bit chilled and enjoy it for what it is.

Opens up with notes of bright candied cherry and violets. Over time it transitions into an earthier tone with a bit of oak. Acid is bright for an 09, balanced out by a tease of earthiness that never quite materializes to the extent of better bottles by Cameron and J. Christopher Dundee Hills. The finish is the weak point, as it is muddled, unfocused and relatively short. This is a really good food wine and is not terribly cerebral in nature, but has about 80% of all that's right in OR pinot. A really nice performance for 09.
