  • This continues to drink really nicely and fully mature. The nose is open and expressive, with berry fruit, cola, and some herbal notes, possibly remaining traces of stem inclusion. There's nice mid palate sweetness and crunchy refreshing acidity. A touch of stemminess shows up in the finish as well. This has developed well and should continue to drink nicely for some time id guess.

  • This has aged nicely. Very mellow. Drinking like an aged Volnay now.

  • Stood up for several weeks. Decanted off fine sediment for 1h then back into bottle around 7a. Brought to tasting at 6p. Aromas of mild stems, cherries, minerals, a bit of earth and mild cough syrup. Palate with tart cherries, stems, some brown leaves and minerals. Mild tannins with nice acids on a medium body. Drinking very nicely with some signs of aging with brown leaves on the palate. But the wine still feels somewhat young and I suspect that some more age will bring more complexity. Drink my last bottle in 2-5 yrs.

  • This was showing really well. Plush black cherry fruit with a green spicy character on the nose and finish. Well integrated ans balanced. In a really good spot.

  • Opens with dark cherry fruit and rich, dark soul aromas, and develops in the glass towards sweet red berries (strawberry and raspberry) and cola. The palate is fully mature now, with fruit and acidity perfectly harmonious and tannins melted. The flavors are generous and sweet with bottle age. I wouldn't say this is particularly complex or deep, but it's quite charming and a real pleasure. Drinking great now it doesn't appear to be at risk of declining anytime soon.
