Big, chewy tannins and extremely dark, rich fruit. Floral note on the nose makes you think it's going one direction, but the palate is lush and velvety and thick; no delicate flower.

Smooth, viscous, and very jammy. Extremely dark in color and flavor. Lush, dark fruits with hints of mocha and spice. Maybe not the most refined or complex of wines, but we found it to be quite enjoyable with the Moroccan Meatballs we had while waiting for the Huey Lewis concert to start.

Australian licorice is about all we tasted, little if any pucker.
