First wine I had which made me like wines. Very easy to drink and well balanced wine. Sweet but not overly so and just the right amount of acidity. Very nice floral fragrance. Highly recommended.

A little funky on the nose. Funkiness blew off after 15 minutes. Typical Alsatian dry style. Minerally finish which left the palate dry, but not harsh. Citrusy fruit was tough to pick up. Maybe oranges, but not quite sure. Paired fairly well with cheese, but not a great QPR wine.

Lychee nuts, oranges, and other citrus fruits are at the center of a strong nose. The aromas, however, did seem to close up a bit as it sat in the glass. Good concentration, acidity, and overall balance on the very soapy palate, where oranges are the most prominant flavor. Very exotic, zesty and spicy on the finish!! A great value at $15. I also must say that I am biased toward Alsatian Gewurztraminer. If you like these wines, this bottle offers a great value.
