Popped and poured. Should have decanted. A bit of tannin on the fore front which started to settle down about an hour in. Good fruit, balanced acid. Hold a while longer. Would purchase again.

Not decanted. Nice nose initially, but very muted fruit on the palate. Thin and flat. Likely flawed. It didn't smell like cardboard or wet newspaper, but it was just dead and uninteresting. Disappointing, so I hope it was a bad bottle. My only bottle, sadly, so I have no reference point for comparison.

Wowee, wowee, wowee. This is hitting on all cylinders. Starts out with a little bit too much heat and new oak but this all integrates with some air. Big and intense but lithe and lively all at once. Tannins are intense and the new oak threatens to overtake the finish but everything comes back together around a great core of earth and blueberry fruit with nice acidity. Big and complex, intense but balanced. Great now, maybe better later. What a fun serious wine.

Yummy yummy young wine. This is a great wine. Deep and dark in the glass. Nose of dark blackberry jam and graphite and roasted meats. Fruit forward black and red note young wrapped in tight tannins followed by cedar and roasted meat notes. Very full bodied.

(Stevens Winery 424 Red Wine Yakima Valley) Very pretty, bright aromatics of cherry, earth, herbal notes, and red vines. On the palate, winding herbal notes with dense, chewy fruit flavors accented by minerality. A rich, flavorful, thoroughly delicious wine. 39% Cabernet Franc, 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot.
