Medium garnet with some bricking. Great nose showing development. Dried meat, tar, some prune liqueur and blackberries. Full body, soft grainy tannins, coats the mouth with savoury flavours , licorice, blackberry and prune liqueur, licorice. Very good intensity of flavours throughout. Excellent savoury finish.missing just a bit more acidity to bring added balance.

In a sweet spot. Starting to brick/brown and fade, with that dusky hue that 10 years or so bestows.
Who you gonna love more? The enticing, high-toned nose? Exotic spices, charcuterie, pink peppercorn, strawberries/raspberries, polished leather. The northern Rhone meets southern NSW.
Or the svelte, complex palate of the same, with pillowy tannins, soft dusty threads, good richness, and an acid drop to keep it all fresh? Looks great, and at under $30 a steal.
If you bought a six pack or doz on release and exercised patience, you’re in for a treat. If not but you see it at auction, snap it up. For cool/moderate climate Shiraz geeks, it’s superb. Drink now or over the next five years.

I still really like that style, a bit of a sulphuric note at the beginning but than revealing ample dark fruit , almond and intertwined spices. Rather broad but holds its composure well, good acidity. Long and complex finish. Good stuff!

Dark fruits, vanilla a touch of black tea. A bit sediments, it is at its ideal drinking window based on my storing condition.

Ripe dark cherry, cinnamon, clove, vanilla. It's at its peak drinking window for me.
