  Showing all of the signs of an 18 year old wine with bricking round the rim and a translucency to the core. The nose was all tertiary goodies of tobacco, hints of leather and tea as well as a smidgen of oak. The palate was very drinkable with good acid, crunchy just-ripe tannins and a beautiful long slightly savoury finish. Only medium bodied but this was part of the appeal. Drink now or forever hold your pieces of a once good wine.
