This wine is still hanging on with good fruit and structure. A Winebid purchase so a pleasant surprise.
Color: pretty garnet with slight bricking at rim. Nose: Shy at first. Earthy with cherry/berry. Palate: Sweet fruit entry with good length and balance. Some tannins still in the finish. Flavors echo the nose.
A testament to what good gamay fruit and good winemaking can do.

Wow. Had low expectations, but this turned out to be a real gem. Lots of fruit still hanging around: mostly berry (black and rasp) but also some earthiness. Chilled for about 30 minutes in the fridge first. Very Good.
