  Rieslingfeier 2014 - BYOB Main event (Rouge Tomate, NYC): Riesling with the voltage turned way up. Incredibly fresh Meyer lemon, lime and guava fruit on the palate tinged by spice, slate and faint developing creamy elements, and there's really powerful acidity beneath that keeps this razor sharp and really precise. It has the sweetness and intensity of Auslese, but all the lightness and freshness of a classic Kabinett, and a glass disappears all too quickly.

  As I typically find Zilliken, very tropical yet extremely elegant. Nose of tropical fruit, orange peel, petrol and slate. Medium-full on the palate with a bit of botrytis influenced richness and a deliciously clean and minerally finish.
