There's still a freshness to this 19 years in, as lively acidity buoys notes of black currant and cigar box throughout. Fruit is fading/drying, and tannins are somewhat resolved, but this has held up really well overall.

Time to drink these. Showing tertiary notes. Cab and oak still dominate. Firm tannins. Quite dark in color. Still it has enough fruit to counter most of the tannins. Tannins are drying on the finish. I have one left and will drink it soon.

Cab really dominates. Too much French oak. Extracted. Parkerized. Not my preferred style.

Drinking well but still on upswing. Inky purple with cedar, tobacco, cassis. Blueberry and dark fruits. Very good but should smooth out further.
