Delicious! Ripe, dark fruits; cherry, cassis, plum. Hint of oak but not overbearing. Subtle finish that lingers.

Tasted after a 5-hour double decant, this was a delicious wine, with fine but assertive tannins, that went well with our roast leg of lamb on this 35th wedding anniversary. Clearly, though, this wine is just dipping its toe into the water of its drinking window. It has decades of gradual improvement ahead, for those with the patience (and youth) to age it out.

3 liter bottle for pre christmas. Everyone enjoyed it, dense, strong, but extremely nice acidity. Makes you want to drink more.
But could have waited for many years.

First bottle of a case. Better with air. We decanted and we’re served well by doing so. Purple to black fruit needs some air to unlock but secondary notes are there and will unfold more with a couple of more years.
