In decline, but still a good midweek wine for, perhaps, the next 9 to 12 months. Still a robust red/purple in the glass with very slight bricking at the edges. Cranberry/raspberry nose, with plum, cedar and tobacco notes on the palate. Short finish that picks up some heat. My, how we've enjoyed this wine over the years.
Tasted against the '10. Still a wine that offers outstanding QPR at $7 a pop. Ruby red with viscous legs. Tannins still peek in but are becoming more integrated. Smokey and sultry as it catches air. Spicy nose with red plums and raspberries. Glad we still have two cases.
