I had a hard time with this. It seemed very closed and hard with a lot of smoke and stony minerals but after some air got a bit easier to drink. Very Alsatian in character but the fruit seemed gone.

I like this Alsatian styled field blend. It is medium yellow colored and has a nose of rose petals, white stone fruit and minerals. A bit fruitier than I remember it on the palate. Some people find this hard to like perhaps because it is very different and unique. Seems almost off-dry but I find it refreshing and interesting.

This is core Sinskey and delightful. We poured it for friends and great performance even amongst the non white drinkers. Will purchase another bottle or get one from our wine club membership and keep for future dinners.

Predominantly light gold hue, transparent, some gas present, possible pink cast; PG character driven (multi-aromatic, bitter finish); quite dry - medium plus tannins; Gewurztraminer and Riesling contribute additional aromatics; very enjoyable.

Robert Sinskey presents... (Milwaukee, WI): Scintilla Sonoma vineyard on the Sonoma side of Carneros. This is also where they're attempting a truffle farm. Its here, they raise their sheep. Melon, green apple and citrus. really Riesling oriented on the palate. an edge of extraction? he says 'no skin contact,'' it is whole cluster though. PB, PG, Riesling, and GW. no lees stirring. 2011 is Riesling based. Abraxas in Jungian philosophy is the a balance of good and evil.
