Vina Ardanza vertical: Over the hill. Light, watery nose of dill water, hint of old leather. Accidic, dill taste, watery. Below average performance, I have had much better bottles of this wine.

Lots of Champagne: Beautiful clear colour. Lots of meat and dried sausage on the note and palate, light body, low alcohol, lively as usual.

Fresh, delicious and complete. Long and lovely
Another amazingly well preserved 40 year old Rioja - faded fruit but still packing a punch. Good balance and an impressively long finish
Amazingly complex nose ranging from dried flowers, hay, mushrooms, smoke, bacon and dried fruit. Freshness and acidity still shining through. However, any bottles should be drunk soon. Cheers!
