  Floral nose is still alive with black currant. Ready to go on PnP. Time to drink this one, but still enjoyable.

  Decanted 1/2 hour and it needed more time but we were thirsty. Upon opening, almost undrinkable. After an hour, earth, herbs, savory elements, muted berries. Medium bodied, decent finish. Seems to be coming out of a bad place and I think it will continue to improve over next year. It may hit the WS 95 yet but not until 2017.

  Picked this up at a 'flash sale' for $50, but I've seen it around for more than double that. It’s a solid Super Tuscan, berries with some earthy notes and spice. Deep, dark red, however, the scent was fairly muted. While it had a nice mouthfeel, I was left a bit unimpressed and even more so when I saw what I paid for it. A lot of glitz for a slightly above-average juice. Need to find something to do with the bottle though.. can’t just toss away Swarovski crystals..
