Leroy Dinner at Binkley's (Phoenix, AZ): Delicious, but dirty compared to the '92, and not as precise. In time started to come together nicely but still didn't quite ever get that precision and "wow" of the '92.

Drank over 3 hours. Well this was pretty special. Bright, tart cherry on the nose and palate. Tons of spice. Great tension and energy. Felt very very young. I can't help compare it to the 2000 I had a couple weeks ago. This was much more precise, focused and structured. It needs more time. Extremely long, lingering finish. Amazing.

Much as Paul S describes, Chambertin made in the Musigny style, also had the 98 Leroy Musigny a few weeks before, I preferred this, more ready and open the Moose need another 20 years. Class in a glass.
