Bottle two of two. Better than last time, but only just. Lime peel and bracing acidity come through, but that "rubber band ball" quality still dominates. Bumped to 81/100.

Grabbed off the discount table at our wine shop. This is pretty funky, and probably a bit past prime. The nose has a strong note of rubber bands, and butterscotch-coated rubber is the dominant quality on the palate. Medium(-) acidity leaves this lacking structure. The finish is long and, unfortunately, tastes of warm rubber.
This is one big rubber band ball of a wine. I do not recommend it. 79/100.

A very pale yellow to green in the glass, the nose is crisp and fresh with green apple and citrus aromas.
The palate begins with lime and has an underlying acidity that is racy and firm. The mid palate shows more tropical fruit before reverting back to citrus and apple on the long vibrant finish. Review Link - www.winereviewer.com.au (drink by 2020)
