Excellent. Like a light refreshing version of an Alsatian pinot gris. Spicy peachy nose, moderate density in the mid palate, bone dry finish with good acidity. But based on my memory of the 2010, the 2009 has a bit less acidity and is a bit rounder. So I think I prefer the 2010 based on memory. But I'll need to do a side by side comparison sometime to confirm.
A rather expressive and intense nose for the variety. Honeyed florality, melon to banana fruit, sage and hand lotion aroma. Dry and greasy palate with balanced acidity, some almondy roudness andnotes of banana, lemon rind and flowers. Good length. Rather nice PG. Very approachable.
