Popped and poured. Drinking very well. The drinking window isn’t close. Probably one of the better pinots I’ve had. Dark and clear in the glass with an earthiness and dark fruit, with mild spice. Still solid tannic structure and low to medium acidity.

From the winery's member allocation notes: Brooding aromas of both ripe and dried plums, rose hips, tobacco leaf, and spice box come out on the nose. Cherry and bramble fruit highlight the palate with cocoa and cinnamon with fine tannins and lively acidity. Drink now through 2020-24. Pairs well with duck breast, salmon tagine, and couscous with roasted vegetables. Case production 716

Tasted this at charleston wine festival at pinot event and thought it was the best of the day. Had again for first time last night. Happy it did not disappoint.

This is ready now for drinking. Lovely ripe cranberry with some plum, and a layer of fully ripe pomegranate. I would buy it again.
