Opened over short ribs and baby greens.. This is amazing totally ready right now but with more time to develop. Gentle to the nose open up with red berries, baby greens to hit the palate with slight hint of vanilla and pencil shavings , medium finish... Amazing wine... Great vintage from Washington though... Let's stack up.!!!

Lush and deep, this wine over performs for its price point. The only weaknesses were a nose dominated by alcohol volatility and some of that same heat in the mouth. But, apart from that the wine is a beauty. Cassis and black cherry with a streak of slate. Dominated by baker's chocolate in the mouth and leading into a gorgeous finish held together by fine grained tannins, the finish is ultra long. Nearly sixty seconds, which is incredible. I would like to be able to drink, today, what this wine will be in ten years.

Drenching nose of cassis and cocoa. Lighter on the palate than expected, but nicely integrating. Can last a nother 10+ and probably will hold other bottles to see wherre this goes. Seemed in a bit of an awkwark stage.

(Adams Bench Cabernet Sauvignon ‘the V’ Columbia Valley) Locked up tightly initially with dusty chocolate, dark cherries, incense, black currant, crushed dried flowers, spice, and herbal notes. The palate is bold and lush with chocolate, dark fruit flavors, and grainy tannins. Hangs on the finish. Give two-plus years or decant extensively. 80% Cabernet Sauvignon (May’s Discovery, Stillwater Creek), 15% Merlot (Artz), and 5% Cabernet Franc (Two Blondes). 14.5% alcohol. 249 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.
