A lovely aromatic mid weight quintessential village burgundy. Lots of roses and red fruit on the nose, while the mid weight palate is full of red cherries , some spice, lovely ripe fruit , not a great deal of structure but a long finish for a village wine. This is why you keep good village wines by good producers in a sunny year for 10 years, allowing them to blossom

Some of the other tasting notes made me worried that this would be too concentrated or extracted for my taste. But I found it enjoyable and interesting, as someone who doesn't drink much actual burgundy (Loire and Oregon for pinot, usually).
Sure, it's a powerful wine, but I didn't find it overly extracted or flabby. Savory and herbal. Poor QPR but we are talking about premiere cru burgundy here. With the price I wouldn't buy again, but it's a fine wine and is drinking well.

Drukket over tre kvelder, ganske lite utvikling med pumpekork i kjøleskap over nettene. Lovende.

At BBR December tasting Singapore. This confirms why I don't recommend drinking village level Burgundy...
