Classic Pinot nose with nice floral and berry bouquet. Excellent accompaniment to pork belly and green beans. Very pleasing to the palate with nice aftertaste. Drink now.

France 2011 - Côte d'Or; 7/8/2011-7/13/2011 (Beaune): Tasted at the Domaine. This has a surprisingly light and somewhat delicate nose of blackcurrants, dark pinot fruits and floral notes. This builds on the palate with similar flavours and finishes long with hints of spice. This is lighter and more elegant than the Ronceret. I really like this—a Pommard that shows some delicacy but still has its structure. Somewhat approachable now but it would wait 5-7 years before opening one of my own bottles. Excellent. 92+
