This is another wine caught in between above average and really nice, if that makes any sense. The aroma was rather nice, which I really enjoy in a wine. The flavor profile was enjoyable as well as it developed from jammy when first opened to the more nuanced Pinot flavors we were hoping for. It was a lighter-style CA Pinot, and that's exactly what we were looking for. The downside was the lack of complexity on the finish (not due to age). It just seemed to fall flat in the end. I do believe it still has life left in it, though. Others here have the drink-by date as 2015, but I think that is selling the wine a touch short. Overall I would buy it again at $19.

Muted nose; some cherry and dust. Red apple, cherry, seaweed, a little raisin. Soft texture and medium finish. Burgundian, interesting, and an OK value. Did go very well with dinner, as the last TN suggested.
